GROUND
A/V performance
Vincent Hall presents Nikita Zabelin, electronic musician, DJ, and producer, and a prominent figure in the techno scene. He will perform his immersive audiovisual live show GROUND.
GROUND is an immersive audiovisual ambient performance that breaks conventional boundaries, shaping a world framed by white light and lasers. Modular synthesizers generate a sense of controlled chaos, grounding the audience and guiding them back to their inner self.
At the heart of the performance is a modular synthesizer, through which Zabelin creates a dynamic landscape of controlled sonic chaos in real time. Longform tonal immersions and minimalist textures invite the audience into a state of deep listening, where each sound element is intentional and resonant.
Framed by white light and lasers, the environment becomes a contemplative space where sound guides the audience inward.
From European art festivals like Portugal’s LUZA and Berlin-based LOST to the actual bunker 43 meters underground, along with collaborations with Greenpeace, the multifaceted approach of ‘Ground’ has found the right home in medium diversity for exploring the convergence of sound, community, science, and environmental awareness.

This is conceptual work about posttraumatic society. I believe XX and the beginning of XXI are so intense and people have no chance to keep their emotions close. This distance from the inner self brings anxiety and coldness. I was looking for a type of a sound that could work with people's proto feelings where there is no need to know if you like it or not and why. The sound itself brings this kind of feel. The main point is to knock this deepest of a person to wake up their true inner feelings.
